Our keynote speaker is Robert Reich, Secretary of Labor for the Clinton Administration and Professor at the Goldman School of Public Policy. Photos from the event The State of the U.S. Economy and the Labor Outlook for 2006 Featuring Dr. Christian Weller, Senior Economist at the Center for American Progress Wednesday, March 15 7 pm – 8:30 pm 200 Dwinelle Dr. Christian Weller will address the current state of our economy and our labor market. There will be an open forum after Dr. Weller’s presentation where there will be the opportunity to ask questions about economic policy, progressive policy, and the entire progressive movement. Dr. Weller is a Senior Economist at the Center for American Progress, a nonpartisan research and educational institute dedicated to finding progressive and pragmatic solutions to significant domestic and international problems and developing policy proposals that foster a government that is "of the people, by the people, and for the people."
