Center on the Environment

Thank you for visiting the Environmental Policy Center of the Brown Policy Review. Environmental Policy and legislation directly affect our lives every day no matter who we are or where we live. The topics addressed are as diverse as the world of people they affect. From toxic contamination, to climate change, nuclear power, threatened species and the ways that policy in this area is implemented, we hope to provide a broad view of the current state of Environmental Policy today.

Editors Erik Resly and Oliver Schulze are pleased to present three pieces for this semester’s issue of the Brown Policy Review on three distinct and poignant issues that affect us all today. They deal with as environmental policy in the EU and in New England as well as examine the debate on nuclear power. We look forward to handing the Center over to Emily McAteer, a junior who has just returned from a semester abroad. We hope you enjoy the articles presented as much as we have working on them.

Best,
Oliver and Erik
