Center of Foreign Policy

Welcome to the Brown Policy Review’s Foreign Policy section. Our section considers critical issues in American foreign policy ranging from global security to foreign aid. In our previous issue, we addressed the relationship between HIV/AIDS and conflict in Africa, the problems caused by and dynamics of the international toxic waste trade, and a potential cause of the increasing anti-American sentiment in Germany.

In the future, the Foreign Policy section is going to focus on deepening its relationship with Brown professors and the student body as a whole, while extending its influence outside of the University setting. We will be working to increase awareness about and interest in the Foreign Policy section amongst students, as well as initiating partnerships with politically driven student groups. Furthermore, we look to solicit high-quality papers in order to help foster increasing interest in BPR and the Foreign Policy section.
