The Roosevelt Institution

Center on Economic Policy

http://rooseveltinstitution.org/davis/economic

Economics, in the broadest sense of the word, is the study of how individuals make choices. As a generation of students living in a world of constant change and growing interdependence, it is important for us to have a voice in determining what these choices are and how they are made, as they will affect the world we are set to inherit.

The Center for Economic Policy allows students who wish to make their voices heard, to evaluate, analyze, and produce economic policy pertaining to what they feel is important. Students will collaborate or work independently on research specific to their individual interests or collective curiosity. Topics might include the following, but are limitless:

         Monetary policy, fiscal policy, etc.

         International economics and trade policy

         Welfare policy and labor economics

         Energy and resource economics

         Development economics
