October 6th and 7th
Yale University, New Haven, CT
Sponsored by the Roosevelt Institution and hosted by Yale University

Want to talk with university presidents and policymakers about how to make college more accessible and affordable for low- and middle-income students? Here’s your chance!

The Roosevelt Institution is sponsoring a conference that brings together students and national leaders to discuss the issues surrounding socioeconomic diversity in higher education.

The timing could not be better for this conference. Admissions, rising tuition costs, financial aid policies and their effect on the accessibility and affordability of higher education are receiving attention in ways they never have before. Yet low-income students still attend selective colleges and universities at much lower rates than their peers. And the disparity is growing. We hope this conference will help university administrators make more informed decisions when addressing socioeconomic diversity at their institutions.

Registration is now open for all undergraduate and graduate students! Spots are filling up rapidly, so don’t wait to add your name to the list.

Travel assistance is available, so there’s no excuse to miss out on this opportunity to talk face-to-face with national leaders like William Bowen, former president of Princeton and the Mellon Foundation, Congressman Chaka Fattah, and university administrators from selective colleges and universities across the country.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of higher education. Sign up now!
