CONFERENCE MISSION:
The Midwestern Region of the Roosevelt Institution dedicated the past year to researching and writing student policy focused on reinvigorating, celebrating, and strengthening the area around the Great Lakes. Students at schools across the region wrote policy on the environment, economics, education, energy, democracy, and urban planning. These policies tackle some of the most pressing problems of our time, and simultaneously embrace the unique aspects of our homes that make our development policy work rewarding and worthwhile.
Accompanied by policymakers, policy experts, professors, non-profit managers, students, and community members, Roosevelt Institution members invite you to take part in the unveiling of our policy solutions at the events March 27th and 28th. Together, we will celebrate the region, brainstorm challenges/strengths, present the student perspective, and begin implementation efforts that will yield positive change. Please join us in the festivities and experience the beauty and promise of the Great Lakes region!

Check out the journal of policy ideas for the Great Lakes region.
