STANFORD, California - May 4 - Professor James Fearon joined Roosevelt fellows at Stanford from Roosevelt's Center on International Security and Center on International Development, Democracy, and Health today to discuss United Nations reform.

Professor Fearon is the Theodore and Frances Geballe Professor in the School of Humanities and Sciences, a professor of political science and CISAC affiliated faculty member at Stanford University. His research has focused on democracy and international disputes, explanations for interstate wars, and, most recently, the causes of civil and especially ethnic violence.

Based on the conversation, three fellows from the Center on International Security at Stanford are drafting a policy recommendation of their own ideas on UN reform.
