Welcome to the University of Michigan's '2008 Election Series.' As our country prepares for one of the most influential and important elections in its young history, we all share a responsibility to understand the issues up for debate, as well as to help educate others. Therefore, the U of M chapter is proud to announce, "The 2008 Election Series."

October 23 - 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM - Policy Canvass; Central Campus Diag
To start the 'Series,' our members will be out in force on the Michigan Diag, a politically historic location for our event to begin. Roosevelt members will be able to present interested students, faculty, and staff with objective policy analysis on their center's specialization. Informational one-pagers will available for distribution, as well as the opportunity to get your picture taken 'with the candidate!'

October 23 - 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Policy Analysis Presentation; Great Hall, 1100 Weill Hall
Following our Diag canvass, Roosevelt will continue to present its policy analysis to politically minded students in Ann Arbor, as preparation for a debate between the College Democrats/College Republicans. Roosevelt will continue to discuss and analyze the candidates' policy positions, and will be distributing information ahead of the debate.

October 29 - 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM - Presidential Policy Dialogue - Do you know WHAT YOU STAND FOR?; Betty Ford Classroom, 1110 Weill Hall
And as a finale, the Roosevelt Institution will be hosting a policy dialogue on the 2008 major presidential candidates: Senators John McCain and Barack Obama. Speaking at the event will professors who specialize in one of four fields: international relations, economics, health care, and energy/the environment.
