"Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorius triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."

China Policy Center

China Policy Center

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to the Fall 2008 semester of the China Policy Center.  If you are interested in China related issues, and Sino-American relations, please come and learn more about what our center is all about.

In addition to our usual agenda of policy creation and publication, we are open to all suggestions as to what our members would like to accomplish in the upcoming months.  An alas, if you if you are looking for a venue to discuss, learn, and express your views on China related issues, please come to our meetings.  We meet weekly as a center on Mondays at 7PM, in the Dana Building.  There is no better place on campus to meet and talk to other students with the same interest in China.

If you are interested in joining the China Policy Center, please contact the center's director, Samuel T Marvin at smarvin@umich.edu.

Some of our material is featured in the Winter 2008 issue of the Roosevelt Vanguard, viewable online here.
