The Roosevelt Institution at Michigan State

The Michigan State Roosevelt Chapter is in its waking moments. We have a solid group, with varying interests and expertise.

Chapter Mission Statement: To bring the best and brightest to the same table to talk about real issues and then to find real solutions.

We have three research projects underway.
Center for African Studies-- Refugee Warehousing: The Realities and The Solutions
Center for Economic Policy-- Private Worker Re-Training Business Model
Center for Energy and Environment-- Local Recycling Project and Refining the Michigan Wind Energy Proposals

The Center for Energy and Environment was published in the regional "Great Stakes for the Great Lakes" publication. A PDF file of the first issue is available here.

News: The chapter is preparing for the upcoming summer hibernation. We are also in the early stages of planning a small event for late September 2008. Stay tuned for details.
