Our Current Projects:

  1. Fitness Survey: We designed a survey for Princeton High Schools to measure student attitudes toward fitness after the school recently renovated its gym.  Roosevelt members will look at the survey results and report back to the high school about how it is doing and where it can improve.
  2. Water Conservation on Campus: Along with Water Watch, we are testing sinks around the school to discover which waste the most water and should be replaced soon.  Those from Roosevelt will go test sinks, analyze the data, and propose changes to the Office of Sustainability on campus.
  3. Meeting with State Legislators: We are meeting with state legislators to encourage them to mandate a poster in car dealerships with 1, 3, and 5 year fuel costs so consumers understand just how expensive it is to own inefficient vehicles.  For instance, the poster dramatically shows that over five years, it will cost over $7,000 more to own a Toyota Land Cruiser than a Toyota Prius.  You will have the chance to meet with state and local officials!
