25 Ideas series

The Roosevelt Institution is launching a new publication series to present good progressive ideas to people who can act on them.

This publication engages our membership and the broader campus community in a national brainstorm to develop policy ideas to solve the most pressing challenges of our generation. We’re now able to go up to anybody in America — a legislator, a citizen, an activist, a CEO, a president — and say to them, “Our generation took the toughest problems we could find, came up with some ideas, and here’s what we want you to do about them.”

Review of Policy Research

The Roosevelt Institution and the Policy Studies Organization have released a special issue of the Review of Policy Research focusing on the intersection of policy and poverty at home and abroad.

This special issue features policy work from eight Roosevelt fellows from across the country and will be distributed to over 1800 universities around the world. Click here to view the table of contents -- if you're connecting to the internet from a campus, you may be able to view full text as well.

The Roosevelt Review

One of the ways Roosevelt brings the innovative ideas of brilliant students to an audience capable of influencing public policy is through its national student research journal, the Roosevelt Review. Accepting submissions from colleges throughout the country, Roosevelt chooses the best student research from all academic fields. Once published, The Review is distributed to state and federal legislators and agencies, as well as advocacy groups and other think tanks.

Think International

Whether the issue is on international development, trade policy, war and conflict, international law, or simply the exchange of ideas between different peoples, global affairs fascinate and occupy many Roosevelt students and fellows.  Beginning in 2008, those students have an outlet just for them - Think International.

This project is a collaboration between the Roosevelt Institution and other leading policy groups around the world.

The Brown Policy Review

The Brown Policy Review, in its second year, is a student-run progressive publication produced by Brown University's chapter of the Roosevelt Institution. Through its six separate policy centers, including Legal, Economic, Health, Environmental, Foreign, and Education, it strives to provide new, creative, and simple analyses and solutions to current policy dilemmas and debates. Each issue contains approximately 15 papers written by undergraduates at Brown and demonstrates the innovative thinking of which students across the globe are capable.
