"Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorius triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."
Welcome to the University of Chicago's Center on Public Health. This Center seeks to address the current Healthcare Crisis in our Nation. The Center's issues are broad and crucial as week seek to formulate policy to eradicate the social inequilities which currently plague our nation's Public Health. Our group writes policy regarding every intricate and essential aspect surrounding Public Health. Our goals are lofty and the task is immense but the work we are doing impacts the daily lives of all citizens. The issue of Public Health morally strikes at the core of government: what is a government's moral and ethical responsibilites to its citizens. Thus, as this group seeks to tackle Public Health we are all addressing the very notion of citizenship and the notion of being an American.
