Dexian Cai

Center on International Security Dex is a Sophomore, and came to Stanford from Singapore. He is majoring in International Relations, and hopes to do the coterm in International Policy Studies. His interests are in the field of international security, and in particular the security dynamics of Southeast Asia. Also, he is interested in the causes of international conflict and how they relate to domestic concerns. Dex is an officer in the Singapore Armed Forces, and will return to serve in the military as an Armour commander after graduation. He is also a member of the Stanford Rugby Team, having played for the Singapore Under-19s in high school.
