Niko Malkovich

Niko Malkovich is a first-year undergraduate student majoring in International Relations with a minor in Arabic. He is from Northampton, Massachusetts, a very liberal community home to Smith College and other progressive institutions. Niko spent the past summer interning for Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) in Washington, D.C. In prior years, he was actively involved in class government at his high school, and spent the summer of 2003 living in Stockholm, Sweden doing selective work at the Stockholm Environment Institute. He also campaigned for presidential candidate Howard Dean during the 2004 Democratic primary. Niko received a scholarship in International Trade from the Hellenic Times of New York City. His passions include foreign languages such as French and Italian. Upon graduation, Niko hopes to attend law school and explore the political arena.
