Hilary Doe is a first-year Masters student at the University of Michigan's Ford School of Public Policy concentrating in community and economic development. As Regional Coordinator for the Roosevelt Institution, Hilary organized the Great Stakes for the Great Lakes project, aimed at producing student policy for Midwestern redevelopment. In the coming summer, she will be working for the Detroit Economic Growth Corportation designing policy incentives to encourage sustainable, equal, and prosperous urban development in Detroit's central city. Additionally, Hilary is currently researching the appropriate metrics on which to focus Michigan's redevelopment efforts, including efficient land use, talent retention, urban revival, and industry diversification.
