David Manchester is a junior at The American University in Washington, DC. A student in the School of International Services, David will graduate with a degree in International Relations with a focus on United States Foreign Policy in the Middle East. Within that framework, he focuses on US-Middle East relations, The Arab-Israeli conflict, and terrorism.

David's studies have brought him to Jerusalem for the spring of 2006 where he is studying at the Hebrew University. In Jerusalem, David has met with many political leaders including representatives of the Prime Minister and President of Israel, the US Ambassador, Members of Knesset, as well as leading scholars and journalists. While there, he has also witnessed the Palestinian Elections of Hamas and the upcoming Israeli Elections. He also is taking several trips to visit some of the important regional actors including a trip to Turkey and upcoming trips to Jordan, Egypt.
