Roosevelt Relief: Hurricane Katrina
University of Michigan Policy interests: Criminal justice, Poverty and social justice, Social policy Since January of 2006 I have been working with others at the University of Michigan to start our own chapter. Finally, our chapter is coming together—we have over five diverse policy centers working towards policy papers, putting on events, and reaching out to more and more students on the Michigan campus. Next semester we will have our official launch, certifying our presence in the Michigan community. For the Michigan chapter, I work in the administrative branch as the director of publicity. My job entails launching major outreach and networking efforts. On the national level, I serve as regional coordinator for the Northeast.
