Joshua Murphy is a senior studying at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is currently majoring in Secondary Education: Social Science Comprehensive with a minor in Political Science. He is a native of Southern California, but moved to Las Vegas 11 years ago and only left briefly while in the United States Air Force.
He has been active in the planning and implementation of voter registration drives, high school informational campaigns and college student voter rights campaigns. His previous experience has been as a Rock the Vote Street Team Member and Events Coordinator, a Clark County Elections Department Field Registrar and the Las Vegas 20 Million Loud High School Coordinator, Group Organizer & Chapter President.
Currently Joshua Murphy works at the Springs Preserve as an intern in their education division. His interests are in political strategy, voter rights education and the current state of our natural resources in Southern Nevada. He is also the current Executive Director of the Roosevelt Institution at UNLV, and a Clark County School District History Teacher.
