People who are hungry and out of a job are the stuff of which dictatorships are made." — Franklin Roosevelt    Momo Liu School: Stanford University Member of: Events Committee Events Director Momo Liu is a junior double majoring in Biological Sciences and Political Science with a concentration on International Relations. She is originally from Harbin, China and grew up in Ithaca, New York, where she has worked on both the school board and on the city's newspaper, the Ithaca Journal. In addition to the Roosevelt Institution, she is also a member of of Stanford's Intercollegiate Model United Nations Team. She also enjoys theatre and creative writing. After college, she plans to attend medical school and enter the medical field before eventually entering into politics or diplomacy.   The Roosevelt Institution is a nonpartisan, nonprofit national think tank devoted to bringing students' policy ideas to the policy process.
