Policy interests: Energy, Environment, International development, Sustainability
Biography:
Paul graduated from the University of California, Davis in the fall of 2007 having majored in International Relations and Economics with a minor in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning. He is principally interested in the juncture between development and the environment and the role of institutions in resolving collective action problems.
When not absorbed in a book, he can be found climbing the icy granite monoliths of the Sierra Nevada mountains or traversing the vacant deserts of the Southwestern United States by foot and wheel. He can imagine no better life than that of the part-time writer, part-time adventurer.
Projects: Paul previously served as the Western Regional Chair. He also served on the National Editorial Board and is a the former President of the UC Davis Chapter of the Roosevelt Institution.
The Roosevelt Institution is a nonpartisan, nonprofit national think tank devoted to bringing students' policy ideas to the policy process. The opinions expressed on this site are exclusively those of its members.
