I should note here that I am not a hippy. I bathe, wear socks, and have listened to Slayer on occasion. I am originally from southern California, and thus my major interests lie in preventing any where else from turning into it. I am especially interested in sustainable development and eliminating auto-centric community design. I hope to either pursue these interests abroad (Germany has an interesting urban sustainable development program) or attend law school. I currently live in Davis with two roommates and a wookie.   The Roosevelt Institution is a nonpartisan, nonprofit national think tank devoted to bringing students' policy ideas to the policy process.
