Virginia Bailey is an alumnus of the University of Michigan, Class of 2007.  She received her B.A. in History and Sociology, while additionally earning her Secondary Teacher Certification and participating in the Honors College.  Virginia now teaches Social Studies and English Language Arts at a charter school in Los Angeles.

Virginia is currently working with the Roosevelt chapter at Michigan and the UofM School of Education to plan The Crossroads Conference, an event which she conceived to continue the dialogue that took place at the 'Seat at the Table' Conference at Yale last October.  Virginia is committed to the field of Education and hopes to pursue doctoral level studies in Education Administration and Curriculum Design.
