I am currently a senior nursing student at the University of Michigan.  I am president of Nursing Student Council Exec. Board. and am the school's representative for Michigan Student Assembly (MSA) sponsored by the Michigan Action Party (MAP).  Right now I'm working on my senior honors research thesis- my topic of interest involves the psychosocial and ethical implications of egg preservation of young women receiving cancer treatment.  I joined the Roosevelt Institution because my interests lie in health policy and medical ethics- particularly reproductive assistance rights, stem-cell research, and end-of-life care decisions.  I plan on attending law school in the future. Other activities include Alpha Chi Omega, nursing assistant @ U of M's Trauma/Burn unit, babysitting, Michigan traditions/school spirit esp. during football season, and my weekends with my favs!
