Policy interests: Diversity, race, and opportunity, International development

Benjamin Fong is co-director of the Center on International Development. A junior at Stanford University majoring in International Relations with a minor in Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity, Benjamin is interested in educational attainment for less advantaged groups and the ramnifications of having an ethnically divided society. In addition to working for the U.S. Department of Labor, Benjamin has worked for Teach For America and Peking University in China. Benjamin has accumulated various accolades for his service to the community, including the Best Buy Community Service Scholarship, the Coca-Cola Scholarship, and the Haas Center Public Service Leadership Fellowship. Benjamin has travelled extensively and has studied abroad in Taipei, Taiwan, and Oxford, United Kingdom. A Woodrow Wilson Pickering Fellow, Benjamin will work for the U.S. Foreign Service after graduating from a master's program.
