While at UGA, Brian served as co-organizer of Students Together Ending Poverty (STEP), a poverty awareness and policy dialogue movement in Athens, GA that brought together 15 organizations and over 1000 students for presentations, awareness, debates, forums, lectures, movie screenings, and food and book drives. Additionally, he served as the Policy Director for Roosevelt @ UGA and a Senior Fellow focusing on Working Families.
