Outside of Roosevelt, she has worked on the staff of the 2002 Tom Harkin for Senate Campaign, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and CNN's "Crossfire." In the spring, while studying abroad in London, Genevieve interned in the education department of Dod's Parliamentary Communications, working on developing and running policy conferences for policy makers in the British Government. During the upcoming school year, Genevieve will serve as the Northeast Regional Coordinator and as an active member of Wheaton's own chapter of the Roosevelt Institution.   The Roosevelt Institution is a nonpartisan, nonprofit national think tank devoted to bringing students' policy ideas to the policy process.
