"Human kindness has never weakened the stamina or softened the fiber of a free people. A nation does not have to be cruel to be tough."

— Franklin Roosevelt

Sean A Kau

School: University of Nevada, Las Vegas

Policy interests: Economic policy, Nonprofits and philanthropy, Sustainability

Sean Kau is current the current Executive Director of the Roosevelt Institution at UNLV.  He is also managing the startup of the Center on Economics and administering the Financial Committee in the interim.  He is in his second semester at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he is double majoring in Computer Science and Finance.

Sean has a wide range of interests but he believes that he can find the most meaningful change in the field of economics and the altering of economics policy.

Sean has great hopes for his chapter, believing that the only limit is the community which will sustain it.  He hopes that the Roosevelt Institution at UNLV might not only affect change in the political realm, but be among the things UNLV is identified with when looked upon as an academic institution.
