Will be a senior at the University of California-Berkeley in 2006-07. Currently involved with, in varying capacities, five research projects on: (a) the political economy of social policy in the US, (b) early childhood education and pre-K programs in the US, (c) income risk in sub-Saharan Africa, (d) comparative public policy in US and China, (e) studying policy framing in the US. Working with faculty and graduate students at the Goldman School of Public Policy, and the economics and political science departments at UC Berkeley. Also in the process of becoming a polyglot: English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Chinese, Arabic. Formerly on the Berkeley Roosevelt staff.
