Mike V Konieczki

Currently he is a master's degree candidate in environmental and water resources engineering at the University of Texas at Austin.
In the past he as held employment as a soil sampler for UMDES, a lab research assistant for the EWRE department at the U of M, and a temporary intern with the City Engineer of Jackson, MI. Mike was also the Board President of the Student Buyers' Association, a student purchasing cooperative. Currently he holds a teaching assistant position at UT.
Michael hopes to do nothing less than change to world. How he is to do that he isn't quite certain. When asked that question he simply replies with a grin, "I don't really know enough of everything yet."
Michael's policy major policy interests deal with water: domestic, national, and trans-boundary water resources development, security, education, and management. He feels these are key to a myriad of other policy issues he finds scintillating such as sustainable development, social and environmental justice, and poverty to name a few.
Mike's other interests include golf, environmental fluid mechanics, home brewing, and the cooperative movement.
