My main policy interest is Economic Policy, although I am very interested in the institution of government, which I believe acts on the same "market forces" as any other business, and thus consider the study of the institution a study in economics. I also am very interested in studying Non-profit and philanthropic groups and their effects, as well as their existence in the market. I am heavily influenced by the Austrian school of economics, a brief overview which can be found at http://www.mises.org/etexts/why_ae.asp.   The Roosevelt Institution is a nonpartisan, nonprofit national think tank devoted to bringing students' policy ideas to the policy process.
