I am currently an MPP masters student in the school of public affairs at AU. I came to DC right after getting my BA in political science and international studies at Kansas and I've definitely enjoyed the change of scenery. My current project outside of my school is working for the school. I am a graduate assistant to a professor in a different department. Neither of us is really sure how we were paired by the administration, but it has  been fun working for him since I mostly just do research on topics I would never otherwise know about. When I'm not in doing school work I play ultimate frisbee in a few of the local leagues to meet some new people in the city outside my classes and because it's fun to run and play.
