Julie is a senior at Cornell University, majoring in Government and Asian Studies. She is currently director of the Roosevelt Institution at Cornell and is a member of Roosevelt's national Editorial Board, focusing on the Making Democracy Work challenge. She is very interested in international relations, with a focus on China.

She served as an editor of the campus newspaper for two years and as a news reporter for two years previously. She enjoys talking about politics and technology.
