I am a second-year pre-medicine student at Harding University majoring in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology and French. Currently I am studying in Zambia while working in a rural health clinic and HIV/AIDS outreach efforts. As an officer of the L.C. Collegiate Seminar Series, I am working to promote the discussion of complex issues and independent scholarship within the university. I am also working to start a university group analyzing international development and encouraging novel, enlightened approaches to development that integrate respect for unique cultural contexts. Additionally, I am exploring options to further develop public health efforts in the community surrounding Harding University and throughout Arkansas.
