Miller has a passion for community service and has volunteered at organizations such as Second Chance Employment Services and Emmaus Services for the Aging. Miller currently serves on the Roosevelt Institution’s Board of Directors. She is originally from O’Fallon, Missouri.   The Roosevelt Institution is a nonpartisan, nonprofit national think tank devoted to bringing students' policy ideas to the policy process.
