I grew up in Northeast Washington D.C. and graduated from the International Studies Program at Wilson Senior High School, a public school in NW DC. Currently, I'm studying Sociology and Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations. I plan to go into international relations and work in international conflict resolution.

During high school, I worked developing national educational programs for the non-profit, non-partisan White House Commission on Remembrance. Currently, I'm involved in developing educational programs for the Education Policy Center at the Roosevelt Institution. My projects include a constitutional literacy program called 'We the Students' and a peace studies program, both of which are intended for local high schools.

In my spare time, I like to hang out with friends or family, write, work out, play piano, sail, read, walk aimlessly around cities, and dance (I'm in Gumboots, Harvard's South African dance troupe).
