Then get busy and find out how to do it." — Teddy Roosevelt    Center on International Development > Roosevelt Home > Yale > International Development The Center on International Development is focused on studying the work being carried out by NGO's, charitable organizations, international aid agencies, government agencies, and similar groups with the intent of offering useful suggestions for improvement.  The Center develops metrics to assess the successes and failures of development policies; identifies improved policy options; and advocates  for their effective, sustainable implementation.  Emphasis is placed on working with those groups who contact the Center for assistance. "International Development" encompasses a vast range of activities. The Center currently has plans for projects related to energy and community health sensitization program -- signs of inclusiveness and fulfillment of basic needs, and therefore keys to successful development and reduction of poverty. Individuals interested in health, poverty, race, economics, public policy, gender, education, scientific innovation, and similar topics will find work of interest in this Center. Projects are interdisciplinary and heavily dependent on the creativity of individuals with backgrounds in a wide array of subjects. This semester we are focused on projects in Honduras and the Caribbeans. Please direct your specific questions to either one of the Center’s Directors (Rebecca S Levenson and Jurist Tan).
