Project Overview:

In response to Jennifer Tolan’s recent Roosevelt Review article, the Yale chapter of the Roosevelt Institution was eager to further explore innovative policy solutions to encourage investment in research for microbicides, a form of female-controlled HIV prevention. We recently finished a report looking at push and pull mechanisms to help make microbicides a reality.

We released a preliminary report at the Brown University launch event this November and released a full report and gave a presentation on March 20th at the Yale-Brown Health Policy Symposium.

Much thanks is due to center members Rachel Hansen and Emily Morell who helped make this happen!
